Raye Mitchell is a real life ‘fixer’ who helps ordinary people deal with problems that can become overwhelming. Raye is a successful litigation attorney and graduate of Harvard Law School and is now an award winning humanitarian and social entrepreneur recognized for her contributions to creating positive changes in the community and for girls in particular.
Focusing on a goal to utilize the power of storytelling as a tool to encourage, educate, and inspire people, Raye writes this new series about a ‘fixer’ for the little guys. To no surprise, the character Zola Penelope Robertson is Raye’s alter ego. Raye has a deep passion for lifting spirits, and believes that words are powerful tools for healing and ‘fixing’ the spirit, attitude and outlook upon life. The proceeds from her written works are dedicated to supporting The New Reality Foundation, a 501 c (3) tax-exempt foundation started by Raye in 2007. The New Reality Foundation provides training and mentoring for girls, and is called The G.U.R.L.S. Lead Global Leadership Program (www.gurlsrock.org). Raye also founded The M.B.A. Series™ Executive development Program that provides leadership training for young adults aged 12-40. (www.thembaseries.org)
